In March, a shorter version of the film made its broadcast debut on Texas PBS’ Made in Texas series, viewable on the PBS app.

We were thrilled with the warm reception the film got at the Archaeology Channel International Film Festival in Eugene, OR, in May.

We won the Audience Award for Best Film and the Jury Award for Best Music. And Honorable Mentions by the jury for Best Film, Narration, Script, Public Education Value, Cinematography, and Inspiration.

Director of Photography, Matt Franklin, and his family, as well as Director of Still Photography, Kenneth Garrett, joined film Director Olive Talley for the festival.
