31st Anniversary of Mike’s First Visit to Gault Site

31 years ago today, Michael Collins got his first glimpse of what’s now called the Gault Archeological Site.
Here are his field notes from his initial visit, a photo of the incised stone that started it all for Collins, a photo documenting the site’s destruction by diggers, and a recent photo of Mike looking at artifacts alongside photographer Kenneth Garrett at a December shoot for the Gault documentary.
